WHAT TO EXPECT
Services
Our identical adult services are at 8:30AM, 10:00AM, 11:30AM, and 1:PM each lasting about an hour long.
Cafe
Before services, hang in the foyer. Grab a free drink at the cafe, ask questions at the welcome desk, or chat with our pastoral staff, easily identified by their "STAFF" name tag.
Dress Code
Wear what makes you feel comfortable! Some people choose dressy attire, but most at CenterPoint dress casually. We don't focus on clothing so feel free to come as you are.
A PLACE FOR EVERYONE
Adult Service
Located in the main Auditorium- you'll enjoy a time of worship led by a band, followed by a host sharing updates on church events and next steps. The main portion of the service focuses on a Bible-based message delivered by one of our pastors.
Kids
CP Kids is Church for Kids, offering unique, age-appropriate experiences for children from birth to 5th grade. With secure check-in, background-checked volunteers, and dedicated staff, you can attend the adult service with peace of mind. Our staff at the check-in desk under the CP Kids sign in the foyer will assist you and answer any questions you may have. All CP Kids Classrooms are available at 8:30 AM, 10:00 AM, and 11:30 AM, with only 0-36 Months offered at the 1:00 PM service.
Teens
CP Youth is where Junior High and High Schoolers (6th-12th grade students) can worship, hear God's Word, and find community together. Both Junior High and High School groups meet together during the 8:30, 10:00, and 11:30am Sunday Services. Find us by following the "CP Youth" sign on the east side of the building, following down the hallway to our Youth Room. Our Small Group Leaders, background-checked volunteers looking to invest in your kids, will check you in, greet you at the door, and make sure you leave knowing that there's a God who loves you. Join us!
OUR BELIEFS
Our beliefs at CenterPoint are centered around five core principles we call THE ESSENTIALS.
ONE LORD
We believe that in Jesus the eternal infinite God has become one of us. Jesus was born of a virgin, lived in unbroken fellowship with the Father, and was crucified for our sins. If that were the end of the story no one would be talking about Jesus today. We believe that Jesus was raised from the dead. We believe that because of the testimony of many reliable witnesses. Because He was raised from the dead, He is all that He claimed to be- Lord, God and Savior. We believe that He has ascended into heaven and that one day He will return and restore all things.
OUR BELIEFS
Our beliefs at CenterPoint are centered around five core principles we call THE ESSENTIALS.
ONE BOOK
We believe that the Bible (the Old and New Testament) is the only inspired authoritative word of God. We believe the Old Testament because Jesus believed it. When Jesus said that the Scripture can’t be broken (John 10:34) He was talking about the Old Testament. We believe the New Testament because Jesus commissioned the witnesses of the resurrection (the Apostles) to take His message to the nations. Jesus promised the Apostles that when the Holy Spirit came that He would lead them into all truth (John 16:13). That truth about Jesus is preserved for us in the New Testament. We believe that “All Scripture is inspired by God and is profitable for teaching, for rebuking, for correcting, for training in righteousness...” 2 Timothy 3:16

ONE GOD
We believe that the one true God exists eternally in three persons; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The Bible teaches us that there is only One all knowing, all powerful, God who created the Universe out of nothing. The Bible also calls three different persons God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

ONE SALVATION
Salvation is by faith alone in Christ alone. We were created to live in fellowship with God and one another, but the human race has chosen to live apart from God through sin. Sin separates us from God and from one another. Whatever is separated from God dies. Jesus came to save us from sin and death. The way that Jesus saves us is through His death and resurrection. On the cross Jesus took our sin. When Jesus came out of the grave He overcame death. In Christ we have forgiveness and life. “For by grace you are saved through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God's gift- not from works, so that no one can boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9

ONE CHURCH
The Church is made up of people called out of the world and into an eternal relationship with God through Jesus. The Church is spoken of in two ways in the Bible. There is the Universal Church, which is made up of all those that belong to Jesus wherever they are found. There is also the local Church where Jesus calls His people to gather together in order to fulfill His purposes on Earth.

OUR STORY
CenterPoint began in 1945 as Provo Bible Church. In 1965, it became Evangelical Free Church, located in a quiet neighborhood on 400 E in Orem, across from Orem High School. Many years later, after experiencing a resurgence under Pastor Scott McKinney, the church was renamed CenterPoint and embarked on a challenging journey to relocate to a larger site at 1550 Sandhill Road to accommodate both current and future growth. In 2016, that nearly decade-long journey was completed.
In less than eight years, this vision has not only been fulfilled but surpassed, as the current campus now holds four services over two days, welcoming over 1,500 people every weekend.
